About BWKH
BWKH is an independently developed congregation organizer. It is not an official application of Jehovah's Witnesses and is not affiliated with jw.org.
Why information is used
Authorized congregation users use BWKH for congregation administration, publisher access, meeting and duty scheduling, and service reporting. Information should be collected and used only when necessary for an authorized congregation purpose.
Information in BWKH
Depending on the features used, BWKH may hold names, contact details, congregation roles and qualifications, group placement, assignments, availability, emergency information, and service reports. Exports are minimized by default; sensitive notes, emergency contacts, birth dates, and report history are excluded from publisher exports.
Access and sharing
Access is limited by account and role. Authorized congregation users should see or share personal data only as needed for their responsibilities. BWKH does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Data may be handled by hosting or technical service providers only to operate and protect the service, or disclosed when required by law or needed for safety and security.
Storage, transfers, and exports
BWKH is hosted using Microsoft Azure in the South Central United States. This may involve storing or processing information outside the user's country. Sensitive exports are placed in AES-256 encrypted ZIP files, include a stated purpose and handling notice, and require the password to be shared separately. Import and export activity is recorded without placing the exported personal data or password in the audit log.
Retention and individual requests
Information should be kept only as long as needed for its congregation purpose and applicable requirements. Marking a profile inactive does not automatically delete it. Requests to access, correct, restrict, object to, deactivate, or delete personal information should be directed to the congregation administrators responsible for this BWKH installation. Some requests may be limited by applicable law or legitimate recordkeeping requirements.
Security and cookies
BWKH uses encrypted web connections, role-based access, protected credentials, encrypted sensitive exports, and administrative audit records. No system can guarantee absolute security. Cookies are used for sign-in, session protection, and other essential security functions rather than advertising.
Applicable guidance
Congregation administrators remain responsible for authorization, retention decisions, responding to individual requests, and following applicable country-specific direction. The principles informing this notice include the Global Data Protection Policy and the Global Policy on Use of Personal Data. Those policies do not make BWKH an official or approved application.
